How TiDani answers a questionAn animation. Someone types "What changed in the Q3 plan?". The question goes to TiDani and on to three teammates' computers. Each computer searches its own files; the files and the search index stay on that computer. Two computers find matching passages and send only those passages, encrypted. A third computer holds files above the asker's level, so it is not used. TiDani's own AI composes the answer, which arrives with its sources,q3-plan.pdf and denver-launch-notes.docx. Nothing is used to train AI.

How it works

Your files stay put. The questions go to them.

No upload step and no copy of your library in someone else's cloud. Three steps, and the first one takes a minute.

  1. Pick a folder

    Install TiDani and choose the folders your team may ask about. It reads them in place and builds the search index on that same computer.

  2. Ask in plain words

    Type it or say it. TiDani asks the computers that may hold the answer, and only the matching passages travel back, encrypted.

  3. Check the sources

    Every answer names the files it came from. People only see what their access level allows.

For each question, only the passages that answer it travel, encrypted in transit, to our servers and our own AI model. They are used for that answer and then dropped.

Chat history is encrypted with keys unique to your workspace, and you can delete a conversation for good. Deep-search answers keep short excerpts with them.

Where do my files live?

On your own computers, exactly where they are now. TiDani reads them in place and keeps its search index on the same computer. Nothing is uploaded to us.

Who can see my questions?

Your question goes to the computers in your workspace that may hold the answer, so a colleague's computer does receive the question text. Admins see activity counts and a short topic label, not the question itself.

Do you train AI on my data?

No. We never use your documents, questions or answers to train or fine-tune any AI model. TiDani does keep simple usage statistics inside your own workspace to decide which computers to ask, and they are never shared with other workspaces.

What if a computer is switched off?

Its files can't be searched until it is back on. The desktop app can keep sharing in the background when the window is closed.
